Advice for Storing Banana Bread Optimally

Plastic Wrap for Food

Storing banana bread isn’t that difficult, but it’s something you want to do right. If you don’t wrap it, it’ll be exposed to the air, and that’s going to cause it to go bad faster.

You can also try using banana bread as a topping for other desserts. It’s common for people to crumble up bits of it to use it as an ice cream topping, but it can work well with other desserts, too.

Do your best to use the banana bread up within a week. If you know you’ll have a hard time eating several loaves in one week, it’d be best to only bake one loaf at a time.

I strongly disagree with your claim that fresh banana bread can last four or five days. My experience is that it will last less at most a day and a half, or if we're really hungry a few hours. :>)
